Sue Wilson

Biography

Sue Wilson is a lifetime Thunder Bay resident who has developed her own style of brushwork after studying under various local and international artists. Sue's creativity has been influenced by her travel and observations throughout Canada, Great Britain and Continental Europe.

Initially she worked in oils but was inspired to become immersed in watercolours by Doris Kramer. Sue's style, which combines softness with detail, has evolved over time.

Most of Sue's work includes florals and landscapes based on images and ideas generated by her home garden and the serene beauty of Northwestern Ontario.

Sue's work can be seen at Fireweed, the Baggage Building Art Centre, Gallery 33 and our Artisan's Northwest Show at the Valhalla in November.
